Photographer
If you have an eye for photo composition and have experience with photography, come to The Mercury. Photo assignments range from campus events and concerts to photo stories and spreads.

Graphic Designer
Earn design experience through illustration creation and feature page design. Graphic designers create info graphics and illustrations.

Staff Reporter
Meet interesting students, faculty and staff while reporting on hard-hitting issues, features or writing opinions for the university. Interview sources and collect information to write interesting and informative stories.

Life & Arts Editor
Interested in music, movies, plays, art, etc.? Excercise writing and management skills by becoming the Life & Arts editor. Keep your finger on the pulse of trends on campus, the latest fads and lifestyles at UTD.

Sports Editor
Know what an RBI is? How far away a 3-point shot is from the basket? Share your love of sports with the university by reporting on and handling sports for The Mercury.
