EMAC hears Twitter petition

The Emerging Media and Communications department added additional courses for the summer in response to a student petition organized through Twitter.

EMAC senior William Lanier created the petition using the Twitter-powered petition Web site act.ly after preliminary announcments suggested only two EMAC courses would be available for the summer.

@emacUTD esponded not long afterward, and two days ago a blog post listed four classes with more on the way.
